Jake Michael Singer

Jake Michael Singer is a multidisciplinary artist from South Africa.

Singer holds a degree from Michaelis School of Fine Art, University of Cape Town (2013) and has studied at Central Saint Martins, London.

Jake Michael Singer is represented in South Africa, Canada and Turkey. Singer, who has experienced different art fields such as photography and paper art, has a superior control in sculpture. His works have been exhibited around the world.
Besides his solo exhibitions in Europe, he took part in many group exhibitions in America and Africa after his graduation. In 2019 - 2020, he took part in the Angel group exhibition at St. Antuan Church in Istanbul.

The artist participated in a group show called Still Here Tomorrow To High Five You Yesterday at Zeitz MOCAA (2020) in Cape Town. He is the recipient of the Eduordo Vila Foundation Grant in 2016 and 2017. Permanent public sculptures include Dawn Chorus (2019) on the RMB Think Precinct and Roarks Evacuation Plan (2016) on the rooftop of August House which can be seen on the Johannesburg skyline.
