Bahadır Hızol

While producing my work, I focus on the often elusive themes of human existence and the universe. We make countless choices, consciously or unconsciously, and shape our lives according to these choices, but we cannot come to a definite conclusion about whether these choices belong to us or not.

During my works I question the nature of reality and our place in the multiverse, and try to convey the emotional responses it creates in me to the viewer in sculptural plastic.

The figures I sculpt are not only representations of the human form, but also embodiments of the deeper questions that lie within us all. They invite us to reflect on scenarios that are stuck between infinite possibilities, lost, won or lost. In conveying these scenarios to the audience, I aim to capture a moment and convey the emotion of the moment to the viewer in the most effective way.
