Jono Toh

After an international career as a Fashion Designer across Australia, New York and Hong Kong, Jono reignited his love of painting during the pandemic. What started as a form of escapism during lock down, quickly spread across social media, embraced by curious art-lovers worldwide. Jono began working with collectors one-on-one, creating commissioned works for clients in New York, London, Paris, Singapore, Australia, and beyond.

Jono’s unique visual language offers a sense of naivety, juxtaposed by his attention to detailed and high level of precision. His considered approach and understanding of composition and colour theory are second nature – a result of his years of technical training and experience as a designer.

In 2021 his bold and distinct style came to the attention of Lea Ziwei and Anthony Phuong, owners and curators of A2Z Art Gallery in Paris, who included Jono in an exhibition in 2022, and agreed to represent him shortly after the show’s success.
Having now shown in Paris, Shanghai, Shenzhen, and a debut solo exhibition in Hong Kong in 2023, A2Z continue to represent Jono and exhibit his work in Europe and China.
